MARIAGE/WEDDING: Catherine & Laurence

After that teaser, here it is. Finally. My first wedding. From a friend from high school, I was designated the photographer for Catherine & Laurence’s Wedding. What an absolute pleasure it was to follow, share and immortalize those moments with them and their families on the 11th of July. I wish you guys the best for the future and your dreams accomplished. 

            

Audrey Hepburn was in their kitchen, right above the note they’ve written “We’re getting married”. I loved their apartment!

Passing through laughs and cries, they finally managed to get happily married.

 

A cocktail was offered while it was raining outside.

We after went in Il Tignanello, a great Italian restaurant. (Jean Talon street) I especially liked the service we had.

   

Cupcakes were amazing!

VOYAGE/TRAVEL: New York

Photos taken in spring 2009, during a trip to Manhattan with school.

Near Battery Park.

 

 

Because I had to get my shot like everyone else.

Ellis Island, Immigration Museum.

Empire State Building visit at 8:46 AM. At first sight, New York City looked like that.

  At 10:00 AM, we were on the Intrepid.

We headed to St. Michael’s Church on the 5th Avenue.

    

We went to the New York Public Library to see the exhibition of the collaboration of France during WWII. No photos were allowed in the main exposition area this but I managed to take a walk inside the library and take photos of its quietness.

Last day was for museums.

  A marathon was held in there.

 

Arrived at the American Museum of Natural History by 10 AM.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art by 1 PM. By far, my most favourite museum of this whole week-end in NYC.

After a quick walk into the modern area, we decided to spend the next hour in the huge Impressionism area.

 

Great, great paintings. We saw some Sisley, Monet, Pissarro, Renoir, Tuner. It was wonderful.

     

 

After 72 hours in Manhattan, we headed back to the bus.
