We went to the New York Public Library to see the exhibition of the collaboration of France during WWII. No photos were allowed in the main exposition area this but I managed to take a walk inside the library and take photos of its quietness.

After a quick walk into the modern area, we decided to spend the next hour in the huge Impressionism area.

Great, great paintings. We saw some Sisley, Monet, Pissarro, Renoir, Tuner. It was wonderful.

    • I was actually using a 50mm f/1.8 for this shot; not very practical for travel photography but easy to carry, sharp and great for street photography.

      Thank you for your comments.
(I reload my photos and now you can view my favourites from my trip down to NYC.)

By the way, went across your blog; what lens are you using? I figured out it was 18-105 mm VR but I might be wrong….

I like the diversity you are showing on your blog.
